The job

Will leads a team that is shaping the future direction of machinery production in Queensland. An average day can range from being at customer sites looking at machine performance to working on large machinery deals or providing feedback to Caterpillar on future machine development.

The impact

Will works with Caterpillar to understand what types of future machine technologies will be required to meet emissions targets. These machines and the new technology in them will be transformative in achieving zero emissions goals of customers and he’s working right now on the solutions needed.

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)

Will studied a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical). Vocational pathways to the Bachelor Degree can include Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, Advanced Diploma of Engineering, Diploma of Engineering – Technical, Associate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical with Industrial Automation).
